About Traceless Tours

Let's do travel in a new way.

If the past few years have taught us anything, it's that life is short and precious and so unpredictable. There's just no room for living on the surface or going through the motions. We've found that many are weary of self-gratifying travel, selfie stops and seeing beautiful places through a car or coach window, not to mention the 'us and them' scenario between tourists and locals. Travelers want rich and cultural experiences that support rather than stress the places they visit. They long for connection over consumerism.

Traceless Tours was built on a simple idea: how we travel matters just as much as where we go. That might sound obvious, but it's far from it. I believe that how we do any thing is how we do everything. Traveling traceless is a lifestyle and, when we vow to do no harm and honor the places we visit, that automatically translates to people as well and it's a way of life we embody wherever we are. Through the tenets we uphold, we are unwittingly making a political statement, not because we set out to do that, but because in today's world, equity is debated, inclusion is contested, whether to show care and support for each other has become an argument and the health of our planet is also caught in the crossfire of policy and profit.

We didn't choose for this to be political. The world made it that way.

Our itineraries, our partnerships and our values are all in service of a vision of travel that pushes back against systems that have historically said: this space is not for you, and this resource is ours to exploit. We believe differently. We operate with intention and choose partners who respect local ecosystems, minimizing our environmental footprint, and making sure the places we visit are better for having had us there.

That's the heart of everything we do:

Leave the world intact.  Leave people seen.

If you believe, as we do, that where you spend your money, how you move through the world, the way you treat others and the footprint you leave behind all matter, then you're in exactly the right place.

Welcome. Let's go somewhere:

carefully, intentionally, and together.

Happy Travels,
