May 16-26, 2026

Days  1: Fly into Edinburgh, rest for awhile or meander the Royal Mile  before a Meet & Greet at the hotel. This first night of our tour will be spent in the Capital City with so much to see and do. We will overnight at Radisson Blu.

Day  2-4: Our coach picks us up to travel to the Scottish Borders, a beautiful and often overlooked area of Scotland. This is the land of Sir Walter Scott and we'll visit his former home, Abbotsford on our drive. We'll see Melrose Abbey, where Robert the Bruce's heart is buried and Dryburgh Abbey, which is the resting place of Walter Scott. We'll also visit The Great Tapestry of Scotland Museum, quaint villages and learn about the famous Border Ballads. These were stories of local adventures, raids, fairies and ghosts that were sung instead of written, but eventually documented by Walter Scott. Our hotel home for three nights will be Peebles Hotel & Spa.

Day  5-6: We travel to the east coast and lovely North Berwick, where you'll find breathtaking beaches and coastal scenery, ruined fairytale castles, stunning walks and an award-winning gin distillery. It’s also home to the famous Scottish Seabird Centre and, of course, great music! North Berwick will be our home for two nights. Hotel tbd.

Day  7-9: Our travels will take us inland and northwest to Nairn, with a stop along the way in Dunkeld for lunch and a wander. While in Nairn, we'll take a day trip to the Cairngorms to walk with a herd of reindeer, explore Rait castle ruins, enjoy walks on the beach and great music in the evenings.  Our hotel home will be Invernairne Guest House.

Day 10: Return to Edinburgh, with a stop at Stirling Castle for tour and lunch, then onward for a final night and group dinner at Radisson Blu to share memories and say farewell.

Day 11 Leave for the airport for those returning home.
