May 15-25, 2026

Days  1-3: Fly into Edinburgh, rest for awhile or meander the Royal Mile  before meeting for a group dinner. Our first three days and nights will  be spent in Edinburgh, seeing the sights around the gothic capital city  of Scotland, including a visit to nearby Rosslyn Chapel and Glen. During  our stay in the city, you may choose to meander through storybook neighborhoods and mysterious wynds and closes (narrow walking paths off  of the streets) and hear some of the fascinating history that spans  generations. You'll have a chance to explore the Royal Mile, museums and  historical monuments while enjoying sights, sounds and tastes that are  sure to be memorable. In the evenings, we will gather for great Scottish music and perhaps sample a single malt or two. Our home in Edinburgh  will be the Radisson Blu Hotel in the City Centre.

Day  4-6: Our coach picks us up to travel to the Inverness and Nairn region of the Highlands. We'll visit ancient Clava Cairns,  a castle or two, and other local treasures, and meet old and new friends for music, local history and culture. You'll have a bit of free time to explore on your own as well. This area is rich with history and music as well as home to iconic Scottish pubs. Our hotel home will be Invernairne Guest House.

Day  7-9: We travel to Oban, a charming coastal village, with the most amazing seafood and sunsets. From here, you'll have free time to do some island hopping and also have ample time to walk, explore and enjoy everything this stunning area has to offer, with an added private concert, author talk and local history during our stay. Our hotel stay will be the Perle Oban.

Day  10: We journey back to Edinburgh for an afternoon of your own  exploration before meeting for our farewell group dinner and overnight  in Edinburgh.

Day 11 Leave for the airport for those returning home.

For those registered for David's 2025 Tour, this one's for you:

Note: Our 2025 tour begins with a coach pickup on the morning of May 1st in front of the Radisson Blu on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. The night before, April 30th, is on your own. If you would like to stay in the Radisson Blu that evening, we will provide our contact for you.

May 1-4th: Our coach picks us up to travel to the Inverness and Nairn region of the Highlands. We'll visit ancient Clava Cairns,  a castle or two, and other local treasures, and meet old and new friends for music, local history and culture. You'll have a bit of free time to explore on your own as well. This area is rich with history and music as well as home to iconic Scottish pubs.

May 4-7th: We travel to the Isle of Skye, known for its rugged landscapes, medieval castles, picturesque fishing villages, history and outstanding scenery. We plan some gorgeous hikes on the island that will invariably inspire ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhhs’ and we will visit the Fairy Pools, castles and distilleries and you'll also have free time to shop, explore and enjoy.

May 7-10th: Our next stay will be in Dunkeld, the heart of Scotland, where we will take  short day trips. This area holds dramatic history that has spawned  legends such as William Wallace, Robert the Bruce, and Mary Queen of  Scots. We'll visit sites such as Dunkeld Cathedral, the Birks of  Aberfeldy, and nearby Pitlochry. In the evenings, we will host some of our very favorite musicians or join pubs for more live music. Our three  night home in Dunkeld will be Tay House.

May 10th: We travel back to Edinburgh with a surprise stop or two along the way. Our final group dinner will be in our hotel, the Radisson Blu, where we will share favorite memories of our time together.

May 11: Flights home or onward journeys.
