Music Tour with Rebecca Loebe
This is a sample itinerary. Routes could change slightly. The daily detailed itinerary will be sent to participants at least 30 days before travel.
Rebecca's first tour with us in 2025 brought the most wonderful friends and fans from around the U.S. to Scotland. She quickly became a tour favorite among Scottish musicians and our tour staff so we can hardly wait to do it again in 2027. Join us for a repeat of the magic, but with a new tour route!
Itinerary
July 4-14, 2027
Note: Our tour begins the morning of July 4th, so you'll arrive in Edinburgh by the 3rd. The night of the 3rd is on your own and not part of the tour but we'll help you make hotel arrangements if you like.
July 4-6: Our coach picks us up in the morning in front of Radisson Blu on the Royal Mile for the short trip to Perthshire. Dunkeld will be our home base for the first three nights. A crowd favorite on Rebecca's first tour, this time we will visit all-new nearby sites, including the historic city of Dunfermline, Scotland’s ancient capital. There, we’ll explore its grand Abbey and Palace ruins, wander through beautiful parklands once part of the Carnegie Estate, and enjoy plenty of time for nature walks and leisurely exploration around Dunkeld itself. We'll host a private concert or two and be entertained by a local storyteller around the fire. On our last morning, after a surprise stop, we'll journey on toward Skye.
July 7-9: Our next three nights will be spent in Plockton, a wee village with sandy beaches and palm trees and, it's just a hop and a skip from Skye. Our favorite local, Deirdre Graham, will board the coach on Skye and tell us stories along the way to various breathtaking stops and slow walks. She'll also play a private concert for us! This is a stunning area of Scotland and filled with stories of romance, tragedy and the supernatural.
July 10-12: Let's head down to Oban, gateway to the islands, known for delicious seafood and awe-inspiring sunsets. This lovely harbour town will steal your heart. There are ferries of your choice for day trips to various islands, including Iona, Mull and Lismore. The town has charming shops, museum and an iconic pub with music sessions and we'll make the short drive for a mesmerizing walk to a 'secret' spot. We'll be treated to a couple of private concerts by world class musicians, including Rebecca!
July 13: We journey back to Edinburgh for our final night and group dinner where we'll share favorite memories of our time together.
July 14: Flights home or onward journeys.
Did you know?
Our tours are different than most. They are carefully curated to support Scottish communities and be mindful of areas that are overtouristed. You will be seeing Scotland with locals; friends who show up to share music and stories. You will not be seeing this enchanting land through a coach window with quick stops. We take our time and a portion of every tour goes back to conservation efforts in the areas we visit. Thanks for supporting small businesses and community efforts around Scotland!
