2026 (for 2025's route, scroll down)
This time, we're going east! Our Brand New Music Tour Route will begin with a morning coach pick up in Edinburgh on April 17th. We'll head to the seaside village of North Berwick where you'll find breathtaking beaches and coastal scenery, ruined fairytale castles, stunning walks and an award-winning gin distillery. It’s also home to the famous Scottish Seabird Centre and, of course, great music! North Berwick will be our home for three nights.
Next, we'll journey to Montrose, a wee village that packs a punch. Stroll along the beaches or visit a museum in your free time. We'll visit Dunninald Castle and gardens and Montrose Basin, home to over 100,000 migratory birds, enjoy some day trips and great music at night. (Also, here's a secret: this is Raven and Steve's new home!) We'll spend three nights in Montrose.
Next, we'll journey inland and north to Nairn, an ideal destination for beach lovers, history enthusiasts, and those seeking a peaceful retreat by the sea. We'll be staying at the lovely Invernairne Hotel with easy walks by the sea. From this base, we'll visit the reindeer centre at the Cairngorms, more castles and meet with historians to learn more about this special part of Scotland. We'll make The Invernairne our home for three nights.
For our final night, we will follow tradition and journey back to Edinburgh for our final group dinner at the Radisson Blu.
Did you know?
Our tours are different than most. We follow a model of Regenerative Tourism, meaning we strive to leave a place better than we found it. Tours are carefully curated to support Scottish communities and be mindful of areas that are overtouristed. You will be seeing Scotland with local guides and friends who show up to share music and stories. You will not be seeing this enchanting land through a coach window with quick stops. We take our time and a portion of every tour goes back to conservation efforts in the areas we visit. Thanks for supporting small businesses and community efforts around Scotland!

2025 Tour Route
Our tour begins with a morning pickup in Edinburgh. We'll take a scenic and historic ride to the Scottish borders, where our hotel home will be Peebles Hydro Hotel & Spa for three nights.
During our time in this enchanting part of Scotland, we'll visit quaint villages and iconic Abbeys, Walter Scott's Abbotsford House, the Great Tapestry of Scotland gallery, Floors castle and gardens and other surprise stops.
From the Borders, we will travel to Perthshire for the next three nights and visit an old favorite for those who have come on past tours. Dunkeld's Tay House will be our hotel home. We will have the place to ourselves. Guests often like to gather for sessions in the cozy living room or Boathouse down by the River. We'll visit a sheep farm, meet with local friends for walks and talks, visit Innerpeffray Library, Scotland's first lending library founded in 1680 and meet Lara "the keeper of the books" (yes, I want to be this when I grow up) for a lovely history and perusal. We'll also take in some of the history of the area with a visit to Perth's museum and enjoy time along the river and the area's rich music.
From Perthshire, we'll head further up the road to Kyle of Lochalsh, the land of castles, hills and lochs. From our hotel base, we'll meet up with Deirdre Graham, who grew up on Skye and she'll share some of her favorite places and tales with us. During our time here, we'll learn more about this gorgeous area and visit some out of the way places.
For our final night, we will journey back to Edinburgh for a group dinner, memory sharing and farewell.
Note: this tour begins the morning of the 3rd so you'll need to arrive in Scotland on the 2nd (which of course means you'll leave the U.S. on the 1st). The night of the 2nd is on your own. However, our friends at Radisson Blu are holding rooms for you with our group rate if you desire. The tour ends the morning of the 13th and our last group activity is dinner on the 12th.
Note: There are no single rooms left for this tour, but we do have double rooms for those sharing.
