Horses to Fly

Dear Friends,

In most places, we can see winter winding down and thoughts of Spring bring hope to a struggling world. The current state of things as it relates to the tour business has recent surprises. Late last year, tour bookings were down about 20%. Many of my frequent travelers sent notes that they were waiting on things to settle. That sentiment has morphed this year into record bookings for 2027. There are already more people going on tours in 2027 than all of the tours this year combined. That's mind-boggling and such a nice surprise. For me, travel makes everything look brighter, transforming our perspectives and hopes for the future and giving us new insights into our lives and the world. 

For those who are still waiting to travel, I understand and it's my greatest wish you'll be on a future tour. We have so much to discover together. Speaking of wishes, I just posted a short Substack essay on the topic for those interested. Here's the link.
