Holidays of the Heart

Dear Friends,

By the river in Perth, there's a series of parks and walking trails where Fiona Ritchie and I met before I flew home late October. After lunch, we meandered along the river and spoke of dreams and endings and what is still out there for us both. It was a wee holiday of the heart, shared before I left Scotland for a few months.

It's a strange and beautiful thing to have a foot in two worlds and dear friends on two continents. It's even more wonderful when we can share one of our worlds with those from another. Thanks for trusting me to do that; for jumping in with both feet to see Scotland through our perspective and meet friends like Fiona.
