Days 1-3: Fly into Edinburgh, rest for awhile or meander the Royal Mile before our meet and greet the evening of your arrival. Our first three days and nights will be spent in Edinburgh, seeing the sights around the gothic capital city of Scotland, including a visit to nearby Rosslyn Chapel and Glen. During our stay in the city, you may choose to meander through storybook neighborhoods and mysterious wynds and closes and we'll hear some of the fascinating history that spans generations. You'll have a chance to explore the Royal Mile, museums and historical monuments while enjoying sights, sounds and tastes that are sure to be memorable. Our time here will also include a group dinner and private concert at our hotel home, Radisson Blu Hotel in the City Centre.
Day 4-6: We travel to Glencoe, one of the most awe-inspiring areas of Scotland. This wild and sparsely populated geological wonder has been used for the filming of several movies, including James Bond Skyfall, Braveheart, Harry Potter, and Monte Python's Holy Grail. We'll enjoy nature walks and fireside stories, history from a local guide with short coach trips as well as group dinner and Scottish music.
Day 7-9: Next, we travel to Dunoon, one of the Firth of Clyde’s foremost resorts built around the historic Castle Mound and famous for its large Victorian pier. This waterfront town with charming shops and ferryport offers much to see and do. We'll take coach trips to visit nearby Puck's Glen for a fairytale walk and meander Inverary Castle and Gardens. Our usual group dinner and concert will round out the experience.
Day 10: We journey back to Edinburgh, with a scenic village lunch stop along the way. In the evening, we'll gather for our farewell dinner at Radisson Blu to share favorite memories.
