Our online course will meet for 1.5 hours a week for 6 weeks. We'll explore ancient principles and laws as they apply to our current state of affairs. Hermetic wisdom is not affiliated with any single religion, though it was adopted in early christian teachings, often described as a blending of science and spirit. 

Hermetic Principles originated in Hellenistic Egypt (a fusion of Greek and Egyptian cultures) and is also called the laws of created things. For example...for every action is an equal and opposite reaction is just the Principle of Rhythm. Isaac Newton was a student of Hermetic teachings and this, along with all the Principles, theoretically applies to emotions and behaviors as well as science. 

Years ago when I had babies at home, I took an introductory class and was blown away. I went on to spend decades of study as I had time and, each time I thought I had learned all it had to teach, I uncovered another level. Most of the writings are cryptic and hard to untangle and I found I had a knack for distilling the information down. Eventually, I began teaching courses and processes with the desire to make it more accessible for everyday life in the modern world.

With the chaos and shifts going on today, this wisdom is grounding and calming. It's also more fun to share in a group. Each class will involve a teaching, discussion, activity and sharing with handouts emailed before each session. There may also be "homework" if we run out of time.
