October 20-30, 2027

Days  1-3: Fly into Edinburgh, rest for awhile or meander the Royal Mile before gathering for our first meet and greet. These three days and nights will be spent in Edinburgh, seeing the sights around the gothic capital city of Scotland, including a visit to nearby Rosslyn Chapel and Glen. During our stay in the city, you'll have a good mix of free time and scheduled activities. We'll make sure you get an insightful overview of Scottish history through a guided walking tour and a visit by a local historian to our hotel. We'll also help with suggestions for your free time and you'll have a chance to explore all the nooks and crannies of this fascinating city. Our first group dinner will be on our second night together followed by a private concert by a world-class musician. Our home in Edinburgh  will be the Radisson Blu Hotel in the City Centre.

Day  4-6: We travel to Perthshire, the heart of Scotland, where we will take short day trips and meet local legends who'll share stories of this magical land. We'll visit iconic sites like Dunkeld Cathedral, the Birks of Aberfeldy, the Hermitage, and local villages. In the evenings, we will host some of our very favorite musicians or join pubs for more live music. Hotel tbd.

Day  7-9: We travel to Inverness, known as the ‘Highland Capital’, though it  still retains its market town feel. We will visit ancient Clava Cairns, nearby castles and other local treasures while taking in Highland scenery. You'll learn the real story of tartan (it's not what you think) and get a taste of the fascinating whisky culture (you don't have to drink to enjoy the colorful tales). You'll have some free time to stroll the river that runs through the city or meander the shops. We will, of course, host a musician for a private hotel concert or two and visit our friends at MacGregor's, the 'best bar in Scotland' for more music. Our hotel home will be the Beaufort

Day  10: We journey back to Edinburgh for our final night, but first, enjoy an afternoon of your own exploration before meeting for our farewell group dinner. We'll share our favorite memories and toast new and old friends.  

Day 11 Leave for the airport for those returning home.
